I write because i care..

Assalamualikum everyone.. for this entry i would like to share a Malay poem showing some concern to the nature.. simple and i bet u will just understand the meaning by the first hit.. so here it is..

HIASAN ALAM

Hijaumu menenangkan jiwa,
Mendamaikan perasaan,
Menghiasi alam pemandangan,
Mengkhayalkan setiap pemikiran.

Oksigenmu disedut,
Tapi kau tak pernah kedekut,
Terus berbakti,
Mengabdikan diri,
Pada manusia yang lupa budi...

Tapi sayangnya,
Semua kehijauan digondolkan,
Demi arus komodenan,
Sang cangkerik berteriakan,
Dek manusia hilang pedoman.

Lalu,
Musnahlah penghias alam,
Hancurlah gedung ilmuwan,
Ranaplah setiap simpanan,
Berakhirlah segala pengharapan,
Dan terus hampa,
Meniti hari-hari kecewa.

Hey You....

Assalamualikum everyone!!! i think it has been quite long after the last poem.. for this entry i would like to share a simple lovey 'dovey' poem and nothing much to say for this entry but i hope u will like this :) - I wrote this while waiting for the lecturer to come in the class.. -

Every time you came to me,
My heart beats actively,
I get a tremendous nervous,
and I try to look serious,
Not to smile,
Which obviously a lie,
You touched me on the shoulder,
and I felt a silent thunder,
Strike across heart,
Melt in the name of pride,
The scent of your linger,
The move of your finger,
I hold them tightly in the shadow,
imagine u n me in the meadow.. :)

Till we meet again.. :)

Changes in Middle East..

Assamualaikum everyone.. for this entry i would like to express my thought about the changes that happened in Middle East.. it is one of my assignment for Critical Appreciation class and i decided to share it here. i wrote this two days ago and i somehow feel that there's something lacking with this.. i don't know.. may be because its a bit emotionless or may be its too stiff or may be because what had happened was too much that i feel it hard to put it in words.. so here it is..

The smell of corruption interrupt the nation,
The scent of delusion disturb the mission,
It occurs abruptly,
It destroy tremendously,
People take the street to emulate,
The social network to demonstrate,
The evidence of democracy, that is too fake;
The dramatic illusion of wisdom,
Behave in a way of terrorism,
Whisper in the ear of victim,
Who failed to digest the conspiracy,
Every effort turn to a letharghic sigh,
in the condition of an effortless plight,
An air of changes fly across cloud,
Arabian celebrates on what should be proud,
From Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain and Libya,
They started the mission over the year,
The leader fulfill his selfish desire,
He neglected his own empire,
Hand in hand the nation speaks,
They use the highest pitch,
and everything is on the peak...
The clock is now ticking away,
It is succinct that the leader make his way,
The changes should now smell fresh,
The changes should never crash..

see.. i told u.. something is lacking.. hmm what say u?

Till we meet again.

Fragmen Sempit

Assamualaikum everyone.. Its 3a.m in the morning and i am still awake! :) ok for this entry, this poem was written by me when i was in my 3rd semester, taking penglahiran bakat kreatif as the elective subject with famous Dr Lim Swee Tin.. and this one the theme is about...... ok i cant really remember but if im not mistaken.. its about..your view of things or people around u.. so i choose to write about an old beggar.. i hope u will like this!

Fragmen Sempit

Di lorong sempit kelam,
Duduk si pengemis tua mengenang,
Hari-hari semalam,
Hari-hari mendatang,
Kusut rambut bak kelat hidupnya,
Carik baju bak pahit jiwanya,
Terkadang dia senyum kepuasan,
Terkadang dia termenung kesepian,
Pagi esok tak tentu lagi halanya,
Ke hadapan kedai,
Ke atas jambatan,
Ke Chowkitroad atau Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman,
Dia tak dapat pastikan,
Pemimpin hebat berlalu pergi,
Sekupang dua tak pernah diberi,
Berlari mengejar masa,
Demi kelazatan kemewahan,
Demi kebahagiaan keduniaan,
Dia tak pernah mengharap,
Cuma meminta perut untuk disuap,
Untuk meneruskan sisa senja,
Untuk hadapi malam bakal tiba,
Urat-urat tangan kian kelihatan,
Rambut putih tak dapat disembunyikan,
Hayatnya mungkin tak lama pergi,
Hati sudah puas menangis,
Keringat sudah puas menitis,
Tulang sudah puas merintih,
Kaki mula merajuk,
Tangan mula menjerit,
Seiring nyawa melangkah hujung,
Senafas nyawa menghanyut usia…

Personally i think this one sounds a bit weird here n there.. i dont know.. may be because of the word choice is not that good.. but its ok.. at least i know that i try.. what say u?

Happy reading and Assalamualaikum!! :)

Tatkala kau sibuk bicara..

Assalamualaikum everyone!!! i think it has been quite long since the last poem so today i decided to post something that i wrote almost a week ago.. it's about something that is very soulful to me.. i mean i write it because this is what i feel every time i heard people with power or even without the power talk about the day of hereafter.. and i choose to write it in Malay! simply because i would like to show an attempt that i can write in both languages.. but this one... i just give it a try.. 'i said.. in Malay? why not? :)

Kita sibuk bicara,
Esok bakal datangnya kiamat,
Kita sibuk bicara,
Hal kiamat makin dekat,
Si durjana terus bermaharajalela,
Terus menumpahkan darah panglima,
Satu persatu dirasuk hiba,
Satu persatu hilang erti bahagia...
Tanda pengakhiran itu kian jelas,
Hidup ini tak boleh lagi bebas,
Kita sedar kuasanya,
Kita sibuk bicara,
Kita canang ketakutannya,
Namun dimana kita,
Dimana iman kita,
Dimana nilai kita,
Tatkala dunia makin tua,
Tatkala dunia penuh sengketa,
Benar...
Aku tahu kau kenal Makrifat Allah,
Aku sedar kau mengerti segalanya,
Tapi dimana kau...
Tatkala kau sibuk bicara,
Ku tak mahu kau tergamam,
Kau tak pinta kau kesali semalam,
Namun...
Tatkala kau sibuk bicara,
Ku harapkan kau tepuk dada,
Tanyakan dimana iman....

Nothing much to say.. i hope you read this.. for me, it was a nice one... and... what say u?

Happy Reading!

Salam everyone!! Here is another poem written by me which i personally think that making decision in term of choosing your leader is a serious matter.. i mean u r not only voting for someone to lead, but u r voting for someone to alleviate the burden that people around him is facing at the moment.. n u can apply this not  only for the big election (pilihanraya umum) but  u can always apply this in any situation that force u to vote.(pilih mpp ke, plih ketua darjah ke, pilih class rep ke..) :) in any situation that is appropriate.. so as usual.. i choose to write it as a poem! :)

Election Day

Here comes the day,
That brings the people there,
Not to fight over Blair,
Or get the fresh air,
They have a mission,
That need to be accomplish
Or, they need to demolish,
On what people call as rubbish

Come people, now line up,
And give your thumbs up,
Green, blue and white,
You may choose what you like,
Don’t be bias,
This is serious,

Not a joke,
Or I try to provoke.
Forget the rumors,
And don’t go for famous,
They will give you shit,
Instead of lead.

it look n sounds very simple but i believe u get i mean.. :)
Happy reading!

For You.. Yes, You..

Poem ini dalam melayu which is a sajak.. :)

Rindu (tajuk paling mudah dan paling direct)

Rindu menerpa
hati Sakit
tawa entah dimana
yakin bulan henti bicara
yakin bintang diam kerdipan
tunggu datangnya angin semalam
agar rindu hilang
lenyap bagai kelam
diam bagai malam
hujan turun lebat dari renyai
hati terus rindu
pujuk bayu siang akan datang
sama mentari biru
bawa cahaya jingga
terangi segala rindu..

saya cuba menulis sajak dalam melayu.. it looks nice.. what say u??

Happy Reading...

Animal Farm..

Salam everyone!

As for this entry i would like to introduce a classic novel, written by George Orwell. A very nice novel where animals are his main character and for this one, i would not tell the synopsis as in an essay synopsis but i choose to write a poem and this poem will tell u everything :)

this might be the old cover..
this one is the cover that i have
this is the dvd cover of the story
and..another cover version of it

....and here is the poem that i wrote for this particular novel...

Animal Farm

On early March gather all the pigs,
With dogs, horses and chicks,
In the big barn they meet,
To hear what the Old Major wants to speak,
Which he had dream in his sleep.

There he gives humans’ habits,
That makes the animal think a little bit,
Old major died in peace,
Mr. Jones needs to be abolished.

Seven commandments are now to be read,
Which also need to be learn by heart,
Everyone should now play their part,
No more play but just work hard,
Like Boxer and his sweetheart.

Everything seems to be fine,
Not until the two swine,
Quarrel to get the highest post,
So that they will able to host,
The only farm that they love the most!

All the animals work like a slave,
But something is in the maze,
Napoleon started to behave strangely,
That makes the animals acted awkwardly,
But Squealer had always been busy,
To convince the dizzy.

Windmill is in failure,
And Snowball is being blame,
Then someone came,
Which had a trade with Napoleon the vain,

Everything started to be in mess,
Everyone will now just hope for bless,
This is just a simple test,
That will give the animals the best!

Another Untitled Poem

This one is written in Critical Appreciation class where we need to come out with 8 poems which we were given the theme before hand. so this one i bet i put it under the first love theme which to be honest its not related to any first love story of mine but i wrote in a sense that people get hurts during their first love.. so i somehow wrote this poem in the sense of being realistic and may be with some essence of altruistic.

Yesterday was a history,
and it's not misery,
you were still around,
and Merry still go round,
i danced like no one see,
i live like there's only u n me,
i dreamed of how it will always be..
Sudden thunders strikes across heart,
which means u n me are now apart,
i now, no longer your baby,
no one to be called as honey,
no one to be pampered as bunny..
i miss your face,
and i know you are at the ace,
Happy coming fortune,
where only me know the tune...

The image i bet show some kind of pen off situation where instead of putting down your pen, u actually take off ur spectacles and put it on the table...

Does My Head Look Big in This??

Salam everyone!

okay.. for this entry i would like to introduce to the readers(people who read novels), especially to every Muslim girls.. to read this novel which i personally think that it is witty, fantastically absorbing tale shows that if u want to achieve something, you will get it if u willing to take all the upcoming risks.. because i believe that u can always change your future.. :)

this is the front cover that i have

... and this one is another version of it..

Well the novel is written by Randa Abdel-Fattah who is a Muslim author who works as a lawyer and lives in Sydney.. this novel is basically about sixteen-year-old Amal who makes the decision to start wearing the hijab full- time and everyone has a reaction towards her brave decision. She said that it is easier to walk naked in the public than to cover her head because everyone would start staring at her like an alien. Her parents, her teachers, her friends, people on the street give different reaction towards the change she made.

But she stands by her decision to embrace her faith and all that it is, even if it does make her a little different from everyone else. But than again she successfully handle the taunts of "nappy head," the prejudice of her classmates, and still attract the cutest boy in school. Brilliantly funny and poignant, Randa Abdel-Fattah's debut novel will strike a chord in all teenage readers, no matter what their beliefs.

So, what else are you waiting for. Grab one. I promise you this one is very different. Have nice try!

Till we meet again!!
Happy Reading..!! <3

It is still untitled..

salam everyone!
its a poem written by me which i have no idea whats the title...

in the gloomy silent darkness night,
star stop blinking notting cried solemn bright,
whisper moon,
there will be no light tonight,
as sun fade away with priceless precious pride,
it gets far away,
bound with echoes of silence,
lodge in where no one can ever find or learn,
sometimes her heart groping for the hapiness,
sometimes her heart wrenching for the gayness,
but only sorrow could be the correct exact answer,
because tonight.. is still silent and no light...

EAT, PRAY, LOVE!

Salam everyone!!

Ok,,, for this entry i would like to promote all of u to read this novel! it entice me long time ago but it was famous when the movie was published last year.. so people get to know the novel better but im pretty sure some refused to grab it.. im not sure whats the reason but i hope ull get one after u read this slight preview of the whole chapters. (kalau nak pinjam mine pon u r welcome to do so hee) and yeah it was written by an American author name Elizabeth Gilbert.

                                    this is the front cover..

So basically, this novel is about a 32 years old, Elizabeth Gilbert was educated, had a home, a husband, and a successful career as a writer. However, she was unhappy in her marriage. She spent most of her night crying on her bathroom floor. After separating from her husband(divorce), which he contested, she embarked on a rebound relationship which continued for some time but did not work out, leaving her devastated and alone.

Afterwards, while writing an article on yoga vacations in Bali, Gilbert met a ninth-generation medicine men who told her she would one day come back and study with him. After finalizing her difficult divorce, Gilbert spent the next year traveling around the world. The trip was paid for in advance with a book deal from the publisher.

She spent four months in Italy, eating and enjoying life (Eat). She spent four months in India, finding her spirituality (Pray). She ended the year in Bali, looking for some "balance" of the two and found love (Love) in the form of a dashing Brazilian factory owner.

So.......... what are u waiting for.. read!! Let us make the habit of reading as a therapy for the heart! (instead of shopping kan.. eventhough the temptation of shopping is something that u cant let go.. hehe)
